My photography journey started during my senior year (2023) with nothing but a dream & prayers. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in life but I did know I wanted to help others, something involving the arts, and be my own boss. After discovering the idea of photography and a "I can do that" attitude, I scratched my Christmas list that year (2022) and asked for a camera kit I found on amazon instead. My family came together and surprised me with my first camera, I was beyond excited. I started taking pictures for anyone who wanted them. I knew nothing about photography, had no experience, or even how to work a camera haha. I am mostly self taught but have had a little bit of guidance from other photographers I've met throughout my journey. I may not have a fancy degree, but if anyone asks I graduated from TikTok & YouTube University. With a lot of support / encouragement from family & friends and LOTS of practice I have grown into the photographer I am today. I am so thankful for the blessings & people God has put in my life.
Not only do I run a photography business but I also run an at home bakery ( Boots 'n Bakers ). I love baking, cooking, and dancing! Some more of my favorite things - animals (dogs, cats, otters), nature, Jesus, & dr. pepper slushies. When I'm not taking pics or working I spend most of my time with my sweet boyfriend, Tyler or my family. Me and Tyler are totally that cheesy rom-com couple, think Marshall & Lily from How I met your Mother or Noah & Allie from the Notebook. We love a good movie night at home but also love going out to the rodeos & getting dinner somewhere. He's my best friend & my biggest supporter, & an occasional assistant at sessions if I may need the help!
I believe that every person has a unique story, and my goal is to create images that help tell it in the most heartfelt way possible. With credibility, I hope to be someone my clients can trust, knowing their investment is in honest work, and a photographer who values them. Through creativity, I strive to capture photos that are timeless, fun, and make you look at them and say "danggg I look good! I can't wait to do another session." It is important to me that my clients feel safe, loved, and confident. I value taking the time to understand my clients, their vision, and their needs. To me, owning a photography business is about more than just making money; it’s about creating new connections, offering dependable services, and by honoring God by using the gifts He's given me.
